The Advisory Forum is the stakeholder group drawn from all parts of the community. Its task is to help the Board of Directors develop and implement a strategic plan for the region.

The Advisory Forum is made up of approximately 100 community representatives. It includes government leaders, such as members of Parliament, members of the Legislative Assembly, mayors, councillors and local service district presidents. It also includes stakeholder groups, such as business organizations, community interest groups, service organizations and more. The President of the Board of Directors also serves as the Chair of the Advisory Forum.

The Forum meets at least once or twice each year to provide advice and feedback on the content, direction and results of the community economic plan.
