Enterprise Central NB has a Board of Directors made up of business people from the community that are representative of the region in which it operates. The Board is accountable to the agency's financial stakeholders - ACOA, Business New Brunswick and participating local municipalities.

The President of the Board of Directors also serves as the Chair of the Advisory Forum. Each Board appointment is for three years.

The Board does not run the day-to-day operations of the agency. It is responsible for implementing governance and operating policies, including the hiring and direction of the Executive Director. It's primary role is to develop and implement a community economic development plan for its region, ensuring community input and participation through the Advisory Forum. The Board meets on a regular basis.
